 EARLY LIFE

John Joel popularly known as JOE SHIGMA born on 7/5/1992 Born and raised in Gombe State Nigeria.

MUSIC CAREER

Joe Shigma is also called Kungfu Shiggy this name is already a household name in the music industry because of the mass love that's surrounds this artiste. Shiggy became one of the versatile and biggest export in the industry. He is one of the pioneers of Hip hop in Gombe State (G-City) The new Mecca of Hip hop which is also the bonafide State of super amazing Artiste.Joe Shigma started his music career at early age of 8 years. Written music research and practise of Rap became his hobby. Joe Shigma used to be referred as MR JOE back then in his early music career. He was indeed top of his class, Coming up despite challenges the young and hopeful didn't give up as he as he also develop into one of the finest  pen man to ever grace the mic. At the age of 17 years Joe Shigma recorded his first track which was title "MY MAMA" a tribute to his mun who died 2009. So sad to loose the love of mother at that age but the overly dedicated and mighty talented artist make his way to the industry making his works to be heard as he join a music group call BURGER SQUAD. Joe Shigma became the legendary Artiste that makes his fans jump out their seat with his music one out of many facts that makes him the greatest. Is the fact he create his music using real event in the society making music audience relate easily when ever he put out a record. His music is organic says many music analysts in most comparisms Joe Shigma can only be compared with the great  like KENDRICK LAMAR, M.I ABAGA, J.COLE, KANYE WEST. And the likes of more super stars that use wordplay story telling and deep poetry. Joe Shigma is exceptionally versatile in a manner that he can produce sing rap in English and Hausa language. One of the project Joe Shigma did was titled "SIMPLY THE DOPEST" (S.T.D.) in his favourite and most important piece of work that truely unveils the Rap Messiah in him.

Joe Shigma is currently working on a album EP titled NORTH MAN EP. He admits that North Man Ep will be the best album project he has ever worked on. Although this project is still yet to come out but only Joe Shigma knows the reason why he said so.In recent teaser's Joe Shigma has been putting out. Music fans have been craving for the new Ep. It's clear for great work of art that is going to change music forever is about to drop and Fans can't wait to get their hands on it. Campaigns are going on already and Shiggy's Music Lovers are already wearing t-shirts and caps with the crest NORTHMAN on it. Joe Shigma says he is going to future M.I ABAGA VECTOR CLASSIQ and MAGNITO. Joe Shigma listed this names and gave them credit for making his studio project (SIMPLY THE DOPEST)the biggest mile stone of his career. Joe Shigma is a Christian by religion Tangale by tribe he is from Billiri local government area Gombe State.

Joe Shigma is one of the early graduates of Gombe State University with a Degree honour in political science.
