BBNaija: Reno Omokri Sternly Warns BBNaija Over Eloswag

 

Controversial Nigeria pastor and former aide to ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has warned the organizers of Big Brother Naija reality tv show over the implication of adjudged political action of a housemate in the ongoing show.

Reno Omokri who has assumed the social media public relations person for the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was reacting to the viral photo of a Big Brother Naija housemate, Eloka Paul Nwamu better known as Eloswag.

Eloswag shirt caption: ” Be Obedient and Useful” is construed by many to be a subtle campaign for the presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi as well as  his running mate, Datti Yesufu whose supporters identify as “Obidients and Yusuful”.

Hence, Reno Omokri through his Twitter handle, warned the organizers of the reality tv show to prevent such  political motivated act from happening in future. According to him, the reality tv show should remain apolitical necessary to avoid polarizing its viewers.

“Dear @BBNaija.Your show is much watched in Nigeria. It is beneficial to be apolitical. Actions on the programme can polarise viewers, which is something that may have real world implications. Perhaps you may want to take greater care to forestall a reoccurrence”, he wrote.
